The Itty Bitty Book Van is hosting a free children’s story time & book exchange in Madame Brussels Lane (opposite Babbo Café) these school holidays on Thursday, 24 September April from 11am to 2pm.
Children are asked to bring along a quality pre-loved book or two they wish to swap into The Itty Bitty Book Van in exchange for a voucher. The children are then free to browse the shelves of the book van and trade in their voucher for a picture book or chapter book to take home.
Throughout the event, children will have the chance to snuggle up on oversized cushions and enjoy a fun-filled story time – right in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. The event is suitable for primary school age children.
A total of six sessions will be held with a limit of eight people per session. The first session will start at 11:00am and each session will run for a duration of twenty minutes. No bookings are necessary.
Children must be supervised at all times by their accompanying parent/guardian.
